Under the guidance of the Expert Advisory Committee of the International journal DigitalTwin, the White Paper was initiated and organized by the project team of the national key research and development program "Accurate Modeling Theory and Method of Intelligent Production Process based on DigitalTwin". Chief editor Professor Tao Fei and his team from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics are the first team in the field of digital twins at home and abroad to be published in Nature magazine. The White Paper systematically explains the development status, reference framework, application cases and future development direction of digital twin industrial software at home and abroad, providing a systematic reference for the development of the industry. It is worth mentioning that Tencent's "real-time twin-based travel safety and traffic control solution" stood out from many election cases and was selected as an application case, becoming a benchmark for the successful application of digital twin industrial software in the field of transportation. At present, the digital transformation of the transportation industry is imperative, and it also puts forward new demands for the development of the industry: how to use digital means to effectively reduce the traffic accident rate and the number of casualties is the core of traffic safety. How to overcome the economic loss caused by bad weather is the difficulty of improving traffic efficiency. How to use intelligent means to solve the problem of traffic congestion is the key to improve the traffic efficiency. Tencent is based on cloud, graphics, AI and other basic capabilities, relying on the rendering engine capabilities accumulated in the game field, Al drive and gamified interaction technology, audio and video technology in the social field, and large-scale parallel simulation technology in the field of transportation and autonomous driving. For front-line traffic police, highway managers, network park operators, traffic participants, etc., build a real-time twin platform with low latency, computation and full scene coverage, open the cloud side, and run through the full link from perception, calculation, simulation to control, to build travel safety services and traffic control optimization schemes. Tencent Traffic real-time twin platform includes multiple aspects of capabilities: ● Provide automated 3D construction capabilities for various traffic scenes, and quickly and cheaply complete static scene construction from the physical world to the digital world; ● Based on advanced AI monitoring technology, the radar and video perception system built can detect road targets with an accuracy rate of more than 95%, reaching and exceeding the domestic advanced level, providing real-time and accurate data basis for analysis and decision-making; ● Integrate Tencent's location big data and industry data to jointly establish a full-factor, full-time digital mapping from the physical world to the twin world; ● Make use of micro and micro integrated traffic simulation technology to conduct real-time analysis of perception data, make virtual and real prediction of traffic conditions and abnormal events, analyze and predict the current and future data for a period of time, provide decision-making basis for the formulation of control strategies, effectively reduce traffic congestion and improve traffic efficiency; ● Support for drivers to use large-scale concurrent service capabilities of vehicle-machine side, small programs, twin navigation, to provide drivers with assisted driving capabilities, real-time event alarm end-to-end delay within 300 milliseconds, can effectively reduce the traffic accident rate.
At the same time, based on this traffic real-time twin platform, Tencent has jointly created a number of travel safety services and traffic control optimization application projects. In the section of Dongjiang Bridge in Huizhou city, the digital twin system is used to optimize the road network at both ends of the bridge and the traffic control and timing of the intersection, and cooperate with the government to effectively solve the congestion problem. In the Guangzhou-Qing expressway section, high-precision three-dimensional scene reconstruction is carried out in three areas. Based on the digital twin system, abnormal traffic events can be automatically reported to traffic managers in time, and video scenes of abnormal events can be restored to the scene of abnormal events, so that drivers in need can understand the abnormal events that need attention on the road ahead, so as to improve road safety. This platform also creates a digital twin system for Chengdu's Second Bypass Highway for the Chengdu transportation department, which can provide drivers with mobile twin, multiple collision warnings, while eliminating the impact of night or bad weather on the driver's vision, and improve the driver's safe passing ability. |
